Ten paramedical
practices,
one platform
since 2017
Osteos Online has been working with Unicare since 2017, the platform that runs the diary, the patient records and the admin of ten practices in Belgium and the Netherlands. Dries, today a co-founder of Ulvio, built it back then. Since 2026 we look after it, so the knowledge sits with a team rather than one person.

Osteos Online is a group of osteopathy practices with ten locations, three in Belgium and seven in the Netherlands. Every one of them works in the same software, Unicare, which brings the diary, the patient records and the admin together. It has been live since 2017 and was built by Dries, today a co-founder of Ulvio.
The challenge
Software that has been going for nine years raises a different question from software still to be built. Ten practices book their appointments in it every day and keep their records in it. If it stops, the practice stops, and the patients in the waiting room are the first to know.
The real weakness of a platform like that is not technical but human. Whoever built it knows why every decision was made, but while that knowledge sits with one person there is no plan B. On top of that, a practice like this has rules of its own: how a treatment runs, what belongs in a record, how the invoicing works. Anyone who does not know that has to learn it before they can answer a single question.
Our approach
Since 2026 Unicare has been supported by Ulvio. That is not a handover to strangers, because the person who built it is a co-founder of the agency. The knowledge of the software stayed exactly where it was, but there is now a team around it. Several people know the system, questions go to a named point of contact, and nothing depends on one person's diary any more.
We also bring our experience with applications that are in daily use in healthcare. We know how a day in a practice runs and which reports cannot wait, so a question does not have to be explained before it can be solved.
The result
The platform has been in daily use since 2017 and runs today across ten practices. Since the handover the brief has been a simple one: support the software so that the people using it stay happy with it, and that is what is happening. Continuity no longer rests on one person but on a team that knows the system inside out.
Where it goes from here
Osteos Online can plan ahead without wondering who will be looking after the software tomorrow. We keep the environment up to date and add to it in small steps where the practices ask for it, without interrupting a working day.
